Mr. Cox is a native of Delray Beach Florida who grew up in the Pompey Park area. His first job as a draftsman was with the City of Delray Beach at the ripe old age of 16. His interest in architecture began at the age of 12 when he took a wood shop class at Carver Middle School. He graduated from PBCC with an associate’s degree in design and drafting, and then went on to Florida A&M, where he earned two bachelor’s degrees in architecture. He also holds a MBA from the University of Phoenix. He is a licensed architect, state certified plans examiner, and building inspector. He founded Reginald A. Cox and Associates, Inc. in 2006.

“As a native of Palm Beach County, a goal of mine is to give back to the community that supported and inspired me. Growing up poor in a tough neighborhood did not deter me. Rather, it was the community that gave me strength and encouraged me to pursue my interests. I want to be a positive role model to young kids, like the role models I was lucky enough to have in my life.”
